YMCA offers its Centres for Collection nodes

February 05, 2010; Tacarigua, Trinidad W.I. - The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management has announced that The Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) has offered four (4) of its centres as collection nodes for the Haiti Relief Effort. These centres and their hours of operations are as follows:-

YWCA, Headquarters    8A Cipriani Boulevard, Port of Spain
Opening Hours    Monday to Friday; 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

YWCA, Port of Spain  25 Alexandra Street, Port of Spain
Opening Hours   Monday to Friday; 7:00 a.m. to 3: 00 p.m.

YWCA, St. Augustine  Gordon Street, St. Augustine
Opening Hours   Monday to Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

YWCA San Fernando  Harris Promenade, San Fernando
Opening Hours   Monday to Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 4: 00 p.m.

The ODPM continues to appreciate the selflessness of the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago in respect of this Haiti collection effort. However, it advises citizens to continue to be guided by the list of items hereunder, when donating:-

 Potable water
 Canned Goods (with an expiry date of greater than six (6) months)
 Medical Supplies (Basic First Aid items)
 
Monetary donations can also be made at any branch of First Citizens Bank,
Trinidad and Tobago Relief Fund for Hait, Account # 1817065.
