Trinidad and Tobago Olympic team tour Diego Martin

The Olympic Caravan Country Tour rolls into the San Fernando, Couva/Tabaquite/ Talparo and Chaguanas Municipal Corporations today Wednesday 22 August, 2012 with the following Olympians:

·        Kershorn Walcott - Gold Medallist

·        Njisane Phillip

·        Andrew Lewis

·        Mikel Thomas

·        Roger Daniel

·        Machel Cedenio

Our Javelin phenon Kershorn Walcott will be presented with the keys to the City of San Fernando by His Worship the Mayor Dr. Navi Muradali.  He will also be presented with the keys to the Borough of Chaguanas by His Worship Mayor Orlando Nagessar.

The athletes are also expected to be presented with tokens for their sterling performances at the 2012 Olympic Games. 

The Member of Parliament for Couva North, The Honourable Ramona Ramdial and Member of Parliament for Chaguanas East, The Honourable Stephen Cadiz are both expected to bring greeting at the Chaguanas event venue (Saith Park, Ramsaran Street, Chaguanas).
