August training opportunities for public officers

HR Leaders Network To Meet Later This Month

The Public Service Academy (PSA) of the Ministry of Public Administration (MPA) will be conducting two training courses entitled “Implementing Sustainable Change” and “Delivering Excellent Customer Service” at which a maximum of 84 public officers will have the opportunity to be trained. The PSA will also host its monthly Human Resource Leaders Network on August 17, 2012.

The courses offered, their objectives, duration and the dates on which they will be held are:
 
Implementing Sustainable Change
August 22 – 23 and 28 - 29  (2 days)
 
Training Objective:

·To expose participants to key strategies required for implementing change in a structured logical and sustainable manner.


Delivering Excellent Customer Service
August 27, 28 and 29 (1 day)
 
Training Objectives:

·To discuss the importance of Service Excellence and your role as a service delivery professional.

·To examine how the behaviour of Public Officers impacts on the public’s perception of the Public Service.

·To identify the skills and behaviors that will improve the quality of customer service in Trinidad and Tobago.
 

Interested Public Officers can contact the Human Resource Departments of their respective Ministries to register, all training courses offered by PSA is free to participants. Deadline date for registration is one week before the course begins.
