Temporary disruption of traffic along Naparima Mayaro Road, Rio Claro

July 18, 2012:

The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure wishes to advise the general public there will be occasional disruptions in traffic in order to facilitate improvement works along the Naparima Mayaro Road, Rio Claro in the vicinity of the Rio Claro College to Agostini Village.

Works are proposed to commence on Monday July 23, 2012 and expected to continue for a period of approximately 9 weeks, between the hours of 8:30am and 3:30pm.

In view of the above, motorists are advised of the following:-

 Please proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.
 Please comply with instructions from Police Officers on site to facilitate the flow of traffic in an orderly manner.
 Please be aware of heavy equipment turning.
 Motorists should drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
 Please refrain from parking vehicles along the road to facilitate the free movement of equipment.

The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure regrets any inconvenience caused and thanks the motoring public for its cooperation.
