BEST opens in Tobago

July 13, 2012:

Prime Minister, Kamla Persad Bissessar will cut the ribbon for the Plymouth Agro Processing Unit, Division of the Bethel Empowerment and Skills Training (BEST) centre today at 2 pm.

BEST is an initiative of the Minister of Tobago Development, Dr. Delmon Baker.  The program was created to empower, develop, guide and equip Tobago's youths between 16 and 35 with the life skills and academic knowledge to ensure that lead productive and sustainable lifestyles.

The ceremony was scheduled for a subsequent date but with the Prime Minister and her Cabinet in Tobago this weekend it was decided to take the opportunity to include the Ribbon Cutting ceremony into her itinerary.
