Online Extention of Deadline for Nominations for Public Service Awards

Online Deadline is  Midnight Sunday June 24, 2012

Online nominations for the Outstanding Public Service Awards Ceremony will be accepted until Sunday June 24, 2012 at Midnight (GMT-4). Fifty public officers will be selected to receive awards for their contributions to the Public Service at a Gala Celebration to be held at the National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) on Thursday June 12, 2012.   The Gala is part of Public Service Week 2012 celebrating the 50th or Golden Anniversary of Independence and the creation of our national public service.

The Ministry of Public Administration (MPA),  is encouraging the public to continue submitting nominations for the Awards. Nominees must be persons who are or have been public officers. The only requirement is that they must have served for 15 years. Persons at any level and across all streams in the public service who stand out in terms of stellar service should be nominated. Awards are also being given posthumously. Nomination Forms are available at www.mpa.gov.tt and must be submitted online only before the midnight deadline on Sunday June 24, 2012.
