Public Consultation on the National Mentoring Policy

Port of Spain: April 24, 2012 

The Ministry of National Security will be hosting a one-day Public Consultation on the National Mentoring Policy on Thursday 26th April 2012, at the Andre Kamperveen Hall, Center of Excellence Macoya at 9:00 am.

At this consultation, the Ministry will host representatives of Non Governmental Organizations, Corporate Social Responsibility Teams from the private and public sectors and International Agencies who have expressed interest in Mentoring and Volunteerism. The objective of the consultation is the development of a Draft National Mentoring Policy for submission to Cabinet.

The Honourable Colin Partap, Minister in the Ministry of National Security will address the gathering.

The Consultation supports the Ministry of National Security’s mandate of dialoguing with citizens of Trinidad and Tobago on matters of national concern.
