Suriname business school students visit Trade Ministry

The Ministry of Trade and Industry hosted twenty-two (22) Second Year students and two (2) lecturers of the FHR School of Business, Suriname on Tuesday 31 July, 2018. 

The students, who are currently studying Business Management and Finance, are on a week-long study trip in Trinidad and Tobago themed “Globalisation in the Caribbean” to learn about our economy, the influence of CARICOM on trade and the investment environment.

The Ministry’s senior officers shared detailed presentations with the visiting delegation on the sectors targeted for diversification under the purview of the Ministry which includes (Maritime, Yachting, and the Creative Industry – Film, Fashion and Music); the trade agenda of Trinidad and Tobago; the investment mandate of the Ministry of Trade and Industry; the TTBizlink e-services available to make business easy and the rights and responsibilities of Consumers.
