Repairs completed at North Oropouche
The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of North East Trinidad, served by the North Oropouche Water Treatment Plant who were currently without a pipe borne water supply, that repairs to the broken 42” diameter transmission pipeline have been completed and supply reopened on Friday 28th June 2019 .
The transmission system is being recommissioned to provide pipe borne water supply to affected areas. However, customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some areas, in accordance with established water supply schedules.

A limited truck-borne water service will be available with priority given to special homes, health care and educational institutions.
