Public Utilities and TTEC to light three grounds in East Trinidad
January 15, 2015: Three grounds in East Trinidad will soon be illuminated.
According to a release from the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC), Public Utilities Minister, Nizam Baksh, is scheduled to be feature speaker at three illumination ceremonies taking place on Friday 16th, January.
Hundreds of residents of East Trinidad, who have long anticipated the expansion of their community and sporting activities on their recreation grounds, will soon benefit from lights installed at the following grounds:
1. La Tosca Recreation Ground, Valesquez Road, Guaico Tamana
2. Howsen Village Recreation Ground, LP #294 Cumuto Main Road, Tamana and
3. Upper Cumuto Recreation Ground, LP#165 off Cumuto Main Road, Herreira Trace.
Member of Parliament for Cumuto/Manzanilla, Collin Partap, is also carded to address his constituents at the three ceremonies, Chairman of the Sangre Grande Regional Corporation, Martin Rondon, as well as the Chairman of T&TEC, Susilla Ramkissoon-Mark, are all expected to attend and deliver remarks.
SIDEBAR: T&TEC enhances life through the execution of lighting upgrades on recreational grounds by its Public Lighting Department. This is done under the National Public Lighting Programme and provides a sense of security for citizens as well as opportunities for recreational activities for extended hours.
