National Training Agency celebrates 15th Anniversary
December 15, 2014: The National Training Agency (NTA) celebrated its 15th Anniversary on December 9th, by recognizing its board of directors and staff, which had committed long service and contributed significantly to its advances.
The gala event took place at the Hyatt Regency, Port-of-Spain and saw Minister of Tertiary Education and Skills Training, Fazal Karim, extending commendations to NTA';s board of directors for making strides in the training system and industry.
He called for a round of applause for all of NTA's stakeholders.
The National Training Agency (NTA) was established in 1999, to serve as the single national training agency with full responsibility and legal authority for planning, coordinating and administering the National Training System.
The NTA operates under the Ministry of Tertiary Education and Skills training (MTEST) to ensure that T&T has a workforce that is certified, competent, innovative, enterprising and entrepreneurial, and capable of contributing to the continued development of T&T.
