Ministry of National Security to host small Remembrance Day Wreath Laying Ceremony

November 10, 2021, Port of Spain: The Ministry of National Security will be hosting a National Day of Remembrance (Memorial Day) Wreath Laying Ceremony on Sunday November 14, 2021 at Memorial Park, Frederick Street, Port of Spain. This ceremony will be held in keeping with the Public Health [2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV)] Regulations and therefore will not be open to members of the public.

The President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago; the Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago; the Honourable the Chief Justice;the Minister of National Security; the Chief of Defence Staff; the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps; and a representative of the Trinidad and Tobago Legion of Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League will be in attendance.

The National Day of Remembrance is observed annually in memory of those who served and who fell in the World Wars of 1914–1918 and 1939–1945.
