The Judiciary wishes to thank the Seetahal family for their gesture of kindness, on 4 th May 2020, by which a number of hampers and care packages were left for the staff of the Port of Spain Magistrates’ Court. 

While the Judiciary appreciates the sentiment that motivated the family’s donation, it is unfortunately not in a position to receive these items. 

The Judiciary’s policies do not permit the receipt of gifts from stakeholders or members of the public and it has therefore arranged for the items so kindly donated, to be forwarded to the Living Water Community which has been on a drive to provide assistance to persons in need as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.  

We take this opportunity to ask everyone to continue to stay at home unless leaving your premises is absolutely necessary. Be safe. Save a life.
